From the San Diego Zoo, to the Johnson Space Center, and the Great Barrier Reef, there are so many places you can explore virtually. Discover our list of must-visit attractions you can visit from the comfort of your family room.

Zoos & Aquariums

Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens: The Cincinnati Zoo regularly shares behind-the-scene videos of their animals and live tours of the zoo on their Facebook page.

Zoo Tours YouTube Channel: Zoo Tours is a YouTube Channel that attempts to bring you closer to the zoos that are out of your reach. The channel focuses on every aspect of a zoo visit from a visitor’s perspective as much as possible.

San Diego Zoo: The San Diego Zoo has a wide variety of live animals cams for you to view! You can watch penguins, tigers, elephants, butterflies, and more. They’re also offering Virtual Spring Break ideas in April.

Shedd Aquarium: Watch the Shedd Aquarium’s “Underwater Beauty” live cam and learn more about their aquatic life on their website.

National Aquarium: Discover different 360-degree scenes at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Visit Shark Alley, the Amazon River, a Tropical Rainforest, and more.

Houston Zoo: The Houston Zoo offers live streams of their gorillas, elephants, rhinos, chimps, giraffes, leaf cutter ants, and flamingos!

Museums

Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History: Move at your own pace through the 360-degree, room-by-room tour of every exhibit in the museum.

British Museum, London: The Rosetta Stone and Egyptian mummies are just a couple of things that you're able to see on a virtual tour of the museum.

The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis: The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis has adapted some of their content online with their Museum at Home web page. You can attend one of their Facebook Lives with their experts, find DIY science experiments, tour your favorite exhibits, and more.

Johnson Space Center: Join Boeing and Discovery Education on a mission to inspire the world through aerospace innovation with an exclusive virtual field trip to historic Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

Parks & Outdoor Spaces

The Great Barrier Reef: Go with David Attenborough on a virtual, interactive journey through the Great Barrier Reef.

Scotland’s Coasts and Waters: Sail Scotland put remarkable 360˚ videos together that were shot at seven places along the west coast of Scotland and at Inverness in the north. These videos put you at the center of the action as a deckhand or island explorer.
