Giving Back to Educators & Advocates

We're kicking off this giveaway during National Teacher Appreciation Week! We decided to host this giveaway to share our appreciation for educators and other STEM advocates.

If you are an educator or an advocate for STEM, we invite you to nominate yourself! Or, if you know other people who you think deserve to be recognized for their dedication to education, we hope you nominate them as well.

About Blocks Rock!

Blocks Rock! is a learning tool that develops STEM skills through competitive structured block play™. According to a study conducted by the Indiana University Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences, Blocks Rock! was found to activate spatial reasoning skills better than other, traditional board games. Spatial reasoning is a skill critical to STEM development and learning.

Blocks Rock! can engage students in small or large groups, and it promotes teamwork, quick thinking, as well as spatial reasoning, and mental rotation skills. We’ve seen teachers use Blocks Rock! in their classrooms while schools use Blocks Rock! in their STEM labs or libraries to:

• Promote STEM development
• Provide a ready-made STEM station
• Encourage playful learning
• Allow for more independent play

How to Enter in the Blocks Rock! Classroom Giveaway

The Blocks Rock! Classroom Giveaway entry form asks a few simple questions about you and/or your nominee that we can take into consideration when choosing our giveaway recipient.

Entering is easy, just click here to answer the questions! It should only take you a few minutes.

If you’re nominating yourself, we encourage you to ask others to nominate you as well! We will take individuals who have multiple entries into extra consideration when choosing our recipient.

If you’re nominating other people, we encourage you to ask them to go in and nominate themselves as well.

Official Giveaway Rules

Eligibility: The Blocks Rock! Classroom Giveaway is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the 48 contiguous states who are 18 years of age or older. All U.S., federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. The winner must currently be a teacher, educator, or STEM advocate.

Entry Period: This giveaway will be open from May 12th, 2023 to May 31st, 2023. **Update: Nomination period extended to June 2nd, 2023**

Entry: To enter this Giveaway, individuals must complete the form on this link. Submission will result in one (1) entry. Teachers nominating themselves can earn an extra entry by answering the optional question. For multiple entries, you may also have someone else nominate you.

Choosing a Winner: One winner will be chosen after June 10th and will be contacted by email.

Prize: The winner's prize will be one classroom pack of 6 Blocks Rock! games.
